DevOps Engineer (IaC Cloud Azure CI/CD) Knutsford to £50k

Are you a technologist DevOps Engineer with a good knowledge of CI/CD, Cloud deployment and Infrastructure as Code?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on position at a scale-up technology company / FinTech that provide compliance software to major banks and finance institutions.

As a DevOps Engineer you'll collaborate with development, operations and security teams to automate and streamline processes, enhancing system reliability and supporting the growing infrastructure. You'll be able to work with a lot of autonomy, assessing current process and recommending improvements.

Responsibilities will include designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate software development, testing and deployment processes, monitoring, analysing and optimising system performance and implementing IaC using tools such as Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation.

There's excellent career progression as the company scales.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with the team in Knutsford once a month (please not for the initial four week it'll be 1-2 days in the office to get up to speed).

About you:

  • You have strong DevOps experience including CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
  • You can script with one of the following: Python, bash, PowerShell
  • You have experience with IaC tools Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation
  • You have a good knowledge of public cloud technologies, Azure preferred
  • You're familiar with Containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
  • You're collaborative with great communication skills
