Lead QA Test Engineer Knutsford to £60k
Do you have a broad range of testing experience? You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on position at a scale-up technology company / FinTech that provide compliance software to major banks and finance institutions.
As a Lead QA Test Engineer you'll be able to work with a lot of autonomy, assessing current process and recommending improvements. You'll oversee the entire QA process for product releases, including planning, execution and reporting, developing comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts, collaborating with Product Management, Development and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria. You will select and implement appropriate testing tools and technologies, conducting functional, regression, integration, performance and security testing and manage the defect lifecycle.

Location / WFH:
You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with the team in Knutsford once a month (please not for the initial four week it'll be 1-2 days in the office to get up to speed).
About you:
- You have strong QA testing experience, with experience in a technical leadership role
- You have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes and are able to recommend the best testing strategy for particular projects and releases
- You have test automation experience e.g. Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress
- You're familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tools
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills including technical leadership skills
