SEN Teaching Assistant - Knutsford:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in SEN to join a lovely primary school near to Knutsford. This is a part time position to start as soon as possible.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Liaising with parents, pupils and staff
Position Details:
- Location: Knutsford
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Part time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £70 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: After Feb half-term
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
