Be Personnel are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator preferably but not exclusively with engineering expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only excel in welding and fabrication but also contribute to the design, troubleshooting, and improvement of metal structures and products. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure projects are completed to specification, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is a new position, and we are open to all applications and backgrounds, providing an underlying experience in welding is demonstrated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on a variety of materials.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering designs.
  • Conduct structural calculations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform quality inspections and suggest design improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG/TIG/arc) and use of metalworking tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and technical documents.
  • Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and improving designs.

Accommodation is available free of charge near to the site in Scourie, on a full time basis Monday - Friday basis, however open to considering different shift patterns and rotations.
