Our client is seeking a proactive and reliable Warehouse Assistant to assist in preparing a facility for contractors. This temporary role involves organising and clearing the warehouse space efficiently, ensuring a smooth handover for upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting, organising, and relocating materials and equipment within the warehouse.
- Clearing designated areas to create space for contractors.
- Ensuring safe handling and storage of items during the process.
- Maintaining cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Assisting in inventory checks and identifying items for disposal or storage.
Requirements:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks.
- Awareness of health and safety practices, particularly in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous warehouse or manual handling experience is desirable.
- Access to a vehicle would be beneficial
