Role Overview:

We are seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and troubleshooting our equipment, with a strong focus on generators and renewable energy systems. This is a hands-on role that involves significant site work across Scotland, collaborating closely with our Area Sales Manager and Service Manager to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, with a focus on generators and renewable energy equipment.
  • Travel to various sites across Scotland, providing on-site support and expertise to clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the Area Sales Manager and Service Manager to address client needs and maintain high service standards.
  • Learn and implement the use of cutting-edge tools and technologies specific to the company's operations.
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working on-site.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide timely support when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven background in working with generators, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Mid-level experience in a similar role, demonstrating hands-on expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine interest in renewable energy and sustainable practices.
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies through training.
  • Full UK driving license.
