We are searching for an agile, highly experienced, analytical and inspiring auditor at the very top of their game who seeks a role with a progressive firm of accountants who are offering a salary of up to £180k p/a and significant additional benefits.

Looking for a high calibre candidate who can lead the Audit function, you’ll have extensive experience across audit work. This firm is looking for demonstrable experience of managing high value audits, building trusted and long-lasting relationships with a varied client portfolio.

RI status is desirable, as well as previous experience working across a mix of industries, particular attention will be paid to candidates with experience in real estate, financial services, and private wealth.

JobPurpose

  • Lead the firm’s audit function ensuring excellence is delivered.
  • Professionally represent the firm during networking opportunities, confidently scoping new business opportunities.
  • Drive strategic target setting, as well as forecasting and reporting on department budgeting.
  • Mentor managers and support with their learning and development to ensure they in turn manage the junior team effectively.
  • Uphold close liaison with other departments (tax, R&D etc.).
  • Oversee workflow and improve processes where possible.
  • Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
  • Champion the firm’s values within the team, motivating those around you.
  • Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills.
  • Set an example for the team as a natural leader.

Job Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified with extensive audit experience within practice.
  • Confident to represent the firm within new networks to secure new business.
  • Previous leadership experience at a high level, with a positive attitude.
  • Strategically minded in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
  • Commercial acumen and an agile and flexible approach to leadership.
