My Client has designs on becoming one of the leading operators in its field in the UK, and is partway through an exciting growth phase which should see revenues grow by 200/300% over the next few years. As part of the expansion plans they are looking to recruit an experienced Qualified Financial Controller to manage the Finance team, and assist with the growth plans - which may include external investment and will include further acquisitions.

About the role

As Financial Controller, you will head up the Core Finance department, ensuring its exceptional and stable performance as the core of the business and an intrinsic part of Head Office's shared services platform.

You will represent Core Finance as the specialist in your field and be a valued member of a collaborative and close-working management team. You will lead and support the finance team, developing a department that is reliable and scalable in a period of business growth.

Your financial expertise will see you maintain a strong and steady hand on financial controls and be able to take the lead in developing financial policies and processes. You will provide a high level of analysis into financial results, taking accountability for important areas of data that help shape strategic plans.

With the business growing, the role will be a core element in helping ensure that the company is investment ready and able to meet the expectations of funders.

You will have a keen eye for detail, be happy to work to deadlines and possess the drive to ensure a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial data.
