The Spencer Clarke Group are pleased to be working exclusively with an impressive manufacturing business based in the Lancaster area to recruit a Management Accountant to join an impressive team.This pioneering company started a growth & transformation project a few years ago, under the leadership of an equally impressive Managing Director and since then had over doubled in turnover - and project to equal that growth in coming years.Working alongside a highly experienced Finance Director, the Management Accountant will support the day-to-day running of the Finance function as well as partnering with operational teams across the business.About the role

Based in Lancaster, you will be a key player in the ongoing development & continuous improvement projects across the department as well as the production of monthly management accounts & reports.The business is looking for a driven & experienced individual, that is looking to develop their career within a fascinating company with great career prospects.Duties Include

  • Production of monthly management accounts, including full commentary, variance analysis and group reporting
  • Collaboration with operational teams, offering insight & analysis of costs, and advice to improve understand of impact on business
  • Budgeting & forecasting
  • Acting as support to the FD, working with them to improve financial reporting & presence within the business.

About youThe ideal candidate for this position must have:

  • A formal Accounting Qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) OR QBE with relevant experience
  • Experience working within manufacturing/FMCG/Production
  • Be driven by excellence & continuous improvement
  • Exceptional Communication skills
