Hays Education are seeking an experienced administrator in Lancaster to support this vibrant and dynamic educational setting committed to providing an exceptional learning environment for its students. The school operates a supportive and collaborative culture, where every member of our team plays a crucial role in the success of the school community. The successful candidate for this Lancaster school role will support the leadership team and headteacher in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our educational environment and providing administrative support to our staff and students. This role would be suited to someone who has supported as a personal/executive assistant or as administrator to a small team in a fast-paced environment.This role is full-time and temporary for at least a term in the first instance, but has the potential for something more permanent in the future for the right candidate.

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the leadership team and headteacher.
  • Manage school records on SIMS, including student and staff information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of school communications, including newsletters and reports.
  • Handle enquiries from parents, students, and staff, providing excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure consistency and efficiency in school operations.
