Job Description:

Recruit UK is delighted to be partnering with a thriving wealth management firm based in Lancaster, presenting an opportunity for experienced IFA Administrators. This esteemed firm places emphasis on a client-first approach to financial planning. This is an excellent opportunity for an IFA Administrator to join a company that wants to get involved across the board with the Investment committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the IFA team, including managing appointments and preparing documentation.
  • Process new business applications, including completing and submitting paperwork for investment and pension schemes.
  • Handle client queries and maintain effective communication with clients and third parties.
  • Assist with the preparation of client reports and financial documents, ensuring they are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update client records using the company’s CRM system.
  • Support the preparation of ongoing financial reviews, including gathering and inputting data.
  • Monitor and chase outstanding paperwork, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Keep abreast of relevant financial regulations and changes, ensuring compliance at all times.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a financial services or IFA administrative role is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to use initiative.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
