Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper - Accountancy Firm - Lancaster Area
We are working with our client in the Lancaster Area who are looking recruit an experienced Bookkeeper with some Accounts Preparation.
The ideal candidate will have 2/3 years experience of working in an Accountancy Firm. The AAT qualification would be an advantage but not a necessity.
Duties
- Preparing VAT returns
- Resolve client VAT queries
- Preparation of Accounts
- Posting invoices onto software
- Reconciling bank on software
- VAT administration
- Assisting clients in the use of various software packages
- Previous experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Kashflow and office management software like Microsoft Office (namely Word & Excel)
- Strong organisation skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
