Exciting new National Account Manager role - 1 day a week in the North-West - up to £55k + package

Futures are excited to be working with a fast-growing, global FMCG business, who are known in the market for their diverse portfolio of high quality, innovative products.

This business are a true market leader across Europe within the Consumer Electronics category, they are growing rapidly, with a current turnover of c.£400million. With exciting NPD and innovations in the pipeline, this could be a great time to join a fantastic business and be a part of the continuous growth!

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing a range of existing top-tier Grocery & Highstreets accounts. This role is 50/50 between account management and business development, so you will also drive distribution across UK Retail.

As National Account Manager, you will ...

  • Manage a portfolio of well-established Grocery & Highstreets accounts, with a £multi-million P+L.
  • Negotiate successful JBPs, whilst constantly upselling new products to continue the YOY growth.
  • You will be doing continuous new business development, targeting Grocery & Highstreet customers, forming and developing relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider commercial function, reporting back on sales and product performance

What will you need to be a successful National Account Manager?

  • Experience within the electrical FMCG industry.
  • Prior or current experience working within Top Tier Grocers.
  • Proven track record of growing existing business and winning new business.
  • A strong desire to proactively go out and win new business.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
