General / Operations Manager - Nutraceutical Industry

- Full time permanent role

- Global Nutraceutical company venturing into the UK (industry experience required)

- Salary dependent on experience (Circa £80k - £100k)

- Remote role 

A global business that specialises in vitamins/supplements is looking for an Operations Manager to develop and drive its UK offering. The role will oversee business operations, sales and product innovation/supply chain management. Please note to be suitable my client are only considering a proven leader with a strong background in the vitamins/nutraceutical industry.

Duties will include:

- Developing expansion plans and partnerships

- Ensuring efficient production and cost optimization

- Driving sales and customer engagement through multiple channels

- Ensuring compliance to legislation

- Manage budgets and costs

- Manage sourcing and logistics

- Building a team (sales and marketing) 

- Stakeholder management - investors and partners

To be considered suitable you will need the following skills and background:

- A senior level background within the nutraceutical (vitamins/supplements) industry

- Proven skills in overseeing sales, operations and growth

- Experience of launching new products in UK/EU

- Strong financial management experience

- Experiencing of scaling up a business (team recruitment and sales)
