Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000neg + £10,000 - £20,000+ uncapped commission
Benefits: £550 car allowance negotiable or company car & benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Hand Tool Products will involve:
- Field sales based role, promoting a manufactured range of hand tools and saw horses
- All of your time will be spent selling to wholesalers, distributors, DIY sheds and merchants
- Inheriting an underperforming territory currently turning over £250k
- Occasional overnight stays
- Attending trade shows, events held at dealer premises, and visiting end-user’s sites
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Hand Tool Products with:
- Must have a proven track record in construction field sales
- Must have sold a related products such as: DIY, hand tools, power tool , woodwork tools, cutting tools, tools, fixings, fastenings, construction consumables etc
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation and demonstrating skills
- Ability to pick up product knowledge and health & safety information efficiently
- A practical and professional hands on competent approach
- Excellent organisational / territory planning skills
