I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who operate heavily within the Northwest of England, Wales and Scotland. They are looking to onboard a site engineer due to an increase in their order book across projects in the Lancashire and Cumbria regions.
Site engineer responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying using Leica GPS and total station.
- Producing and recording As-built surveys.
- Volume calculations.
- Machine control.
- Record keeping.
- RFI's.
- Reading and understanding drawings.
- Liaising with the client and main contractor.
- Health and safety compliance.
- Working alongside and reporting to the project management team.
Site engineer responsibilities:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Degree or diploma in civil engineering.
- CSCS Card.
- Proficient with excel, word, office.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, LSS, Civil 3D software.
- Proficient with Leica GPS and total station surveying equipment.
- Previous experience with bulk earthworks.
- Full UK driving licence.
