A requirement has arisen for a Structural Engineer with experience in structural design to join a growing dynamic business in the North West design team.
- Reporting to the Associate Director, this role will be instrumental in the growth of the company and supporting the growth of the northern design team.

Duties:
- Delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims, including subsidence, fire, impact, flooding and storm damage
- Completing site visits for residential and commercial building projects
- Delivering small to medium design projects
- Ensuring that the team reaches the monthly sales targets by driving business development
- Reporting to the Associate Director and providing progress reports
- Developing new ideas to help shape the future of the business
About You:
- Good degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (essential)
- 2 years post graduate design experience (essential)
- Proficiency in IT systems (essential)
- A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber (essential)
- MICE or MIStructE (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, ensuring great customer service
- Excellent work ethic, willing to go above and beyond to support the company growth
- Passionate about new technologies, progressive change and continuous improvement
- Car owner and UK driving licence, able to travel to site
- All aspects of Microsoft Office
- Industry standard structural design software
- Proficient in the use of AutoCad/Revit
Structural Engineer (Design) - 37.5 hours per week with flexible hybrid working - Northwest, Liverpool, Manchester /Warrington and surrounding areas.
