Estimator/Surveyor (Passive Fire Protection)

50,000/annum plus company vehicle
Our client, a specialist fire protection contractor, require an experienced Estimator/Surveyor to join their team on a full time basis.
The company are well established and specialise in fire proofing services for various sectors across the UK.
This particular role will be office based but with the occasional requirement to visit sites across the UK
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To complete tender quotations, estimates and lump sum prices for a range of clients
- Liaise and build relationships with suppliers to secure the best prices.
- Maintain a first class knowledge of current legislation and product information and specifications
- Occasionally survey jobs to assess the scope of works
- Create scope of works and pricing documents
- Work off drawings and bill of quantities to establish costs
- Occasional requirement to work away from home (20% of the time)
You must have a proven track record of working within the passive fire industry and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of fire doors, fire compartmentation and fire dampers.
On top of a 50,000 salary, benefits will include company vehicle, 28 days annual leave, pension and additional company benefits.
