An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Account Executive who enjoys the new business element of the role to join an independent broker based in Lancaster!

This is your chance for you to grow alongside an expanding business, build your own client portfolio across a range of industries and offer a personalised cross-class commercial insurance offerings - working with some clients whose premiums range can soar up to £1,000,000 GWP!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate New Business: Identify and secure new clients while managing and renewing existing accounts.
  • Client Relationship Management: Deliver high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction and retention to the existing book of clients you will inherit.
  • Collaborative Work: Partner with internal teams to create tailored insurance solutions for your clients and support in developing the knowledge of Account Handlers.
  • Face of the Business: Drive to client locations to meet with them face to face, providing them with a more memorable experience.

The Ideal Commercial Account Executive:

  • Proven experience of Commercial Insurance in a broking environment, able to demonstrate a strong knowledge across a wide range of different products.
  • An excellent understanding of the UK insurance market.
  • Ability to generate leads independently whilst also securing new business through warm leads provided to you internally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in a verbal and written manner, able to develop and maintain close relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and driven attitude, able to work well as part of a team and also have a keen eye for detail.
