Our highly respected client based in Lancaster are currently seeking an International Sales Support Representative to join their dynamic team on a full time and permanent basis.

This role is crucial for delivering high-quality customer service to their international customers and requires the handling of all relevant international paperwork for distribution partners. The ideal candidate will be a team player and an integral part of our international team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Ensure customer orders are dispatched according to agreed lead times.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date order information.
  • Provide real-time information on deliveries via transport providers.
  • Complete all export documentation accurately and on time, including liaising with the local chamber of commerce.
  • Process and monitor customer orders, liaise with IBDE, and ensure proactive communication with customers.
  • Set up new customer accounts.
  • Assist the International Team in raising the service standards within the department.
  • Handle various customer transactions including inbound calls, service complaints, general product enquiries, customer order entry, and servicing customer accounts; communicate with other departments and providers to resolve issues.
  • Manage time effectively to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.
  • Take ownership of all issues and enquiries related to their account base.
  • Perform any other tasks as required by the company.

  • Computer literate, experienced with Microsoft software packages.
  • Numerate and literate.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Details of the Role:

  • 24 days annual leave + bank holidays (3 to be reserved for Christmas close down)

  • Working hours are 08:00am - 16:30pm, Monday - Friday 
  • Office based position
