PFI Project Manager - UK based

£65K - £85K salary (dependent upon experience), flexible location, hybrid working

Our client is a leading infrastructure investor looking to recruit an experienced PFI Project Manager to manage the delivery of lifecycle works from identification to handback of assets. My client has a diverse portfolio of project in UK and beyond offering significant development opportunities to the right candidate.

On offer is a generous salary, 20% bonus, 10% pension contribution, hybrid working and a really supportive team culture.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare condition surveys (fabric and M&E provision)
  • Identify, prioritise and manage the lifecycle project pipeline
  • Consider different procurement routes to gain maximum value for the SPV board
  • Management of contractor parties, including inspecting works, managing variations, signing off interim payments and reporting on progress
  • Ensure works are delivered to the standard required and meet the specification of the handback criteria

Key Skills and Experiences

  • Significant understanding and experience of lifecycle asset replacement and variations
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in written forms
  • Knowledge of main forms of building contract
  • HND/degree construction related discipline
  • Experience in delivering small / medium value projects
  • Experience of working in a PFI / PPP operational environment
  • Commercial outlook
  • Would suit someone with a construction/technical background working for a PFI/FM provider or in a consultancy role
