We are currently hiring a Data Engineer to work for a large manufacturing company based in Lancashire. The hire will play a vital role in designing, scaling and maintaining data infrastructure working across the business intelligence and analytical structures.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure cloud services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, etc.).
Develop and optimize data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to ensure high performance
Build and manage robust ETL workflows to support analytics and business intelligence teams
Stay updated with the latest Azure services and recommend improvements or new tools where necessary
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements

Required:

2+ years experience as a data engineer
Azure, SQL, ETL, and CI/CD experience
Data warehouse experience is a plus
