Salary: £29,243
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (starting schedule)
Future Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)

Are you looking to kick-start or grow your career in manufacturing? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trainee Mill Operator to join our team. You will operate high-speed converting lines and Rewinder machines, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently while minimizing waste.

What You'll Do:

  • Operate the re-winder safely with a focus on housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Master the re-winding process, including loading/unloading reels.
  • Test, record, and adjust reels to meet required specifications.
  • Operate, assist, or troubleshoot on converting and packaging lines.
  • Handle heavy goods vehicles using a forklift (training provided).
  • Days based training go on shift once trained

What We're Looking For:

  • Background in manufacturing as an operative/operator.
  • Flexibility to transition to shifts (4 on, 4 off) after initial training.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality.
