ECT's - Lancaster:

Prospero Teaching are working closely with various schools in the Lancaster area. We are looking specifically for ECTs that have recently qualified who either specialise in SEN or Primary, or would like to enhance their experience.

We are excited to hear from confident, dedicated candidates that excel in behaviour management.

The Role:

  • Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN (special educational needs)
  • Creating a safe environment that allows children to have fun, learn and succeed
  • Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum and that meet individual needs of the pupils

Position Details:

  • Location: Across Lancaster
  • Position: ECT
  • Type of Work: Temporary (with possible temp-perm opportunities)
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 150 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Long-Term/Short-Term

The Ideal Candidate:

  • QTS (qualified teacher status is essential)
  • Knowledge and experience of the teaching curriculum
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
