  • Job Type: Part-time (11:30am – 3:15pm)

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, working specifically with a Year 3 pupil who requires social and emotional support. This part-time role is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives. The position includes paid lunchtime supervision and is expected to continue until July 2025.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide targeted support to a Year 3 pupil, focusing on social and emotional development.
  • Assist with classroom activities and learning processes, under the guidance of the lead teacher.
  • Supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to support the pupil’s educational and emotional needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role or working with children, particularly in providing emotional and social support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • SEND experience is desirable but not essential
