This role is for a Personal Assistant who will be working in the Secretarial & Business Support department of a Not For Profit organisation based in Lancaster. The PA will provide critical support to the Headteacher and the rest of the SLT, ensuring smooth operations.

Description

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Headteacher
  • Coordinate and manage schedules, appointments, and deadlines
  • Prepare agendas, take notes during meetings, and track follow-up actions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the Headteacher
  • Organise and manage relevant documents and files
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Uphold the values and standards of the institution
  • Contribute positively to the team and the wider school community

Profile

A successful PA should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in using office software, such as MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Confidence in dealing with a range of people and tasks
