Overview:We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our clients dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee audits across various industry sectors, with work performed both remotely and on-site at client locations. Due to the location of some clients, travel and occasional overnight stays are required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assist with audit fieldwork both remotely and on client premises.
- Take charge of planning and completing audit assignments.
- Report completed audit files directly to the Responsible Individual (RI).
- Provide training and support to other team members.
- Prepare statutory financial statements from client data.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience conducting audits for owner-managed businesses.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent working knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS.
- Experience auditing clients in various industries.
- Ideally, experience in a small or medium-sized accountancy practice.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- ACA/ACCA/CA qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE).
