The Role

As a Qualified Auditor / Audit Manager, you will take on a varied and rewarding role, working closely with clients to ensure audits are conducted smoothly and in compliance with regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Audit Assignments: Oversee audits from planning to completion, ensuring a high standard of service for all clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert advice and identifying opportunities for value-added services.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all audits comply with regulatory standards and best practices, managing risk and delivering audits within agreed timeframes.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare audit reports and financial statements, presenting findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow the firm's client base, helping to drive the success of the practice.
What We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you will need to bring:

  • Professional Qualification: You are a fully qualified ACA / ACCA with proven experience in audit.
  • Audit Expertise: Extensive experience managing audits for a variety of clients, ideally within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex audit findings in a clear and concise way.
  • Leadership Ability: Proven experience in managing and developing audit teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: A good understanding of business, with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance client services.
