Our client, a Local Authority based in the North West, is currently recruiting for a Budget Transformation Lead on a one-month temporary contract.
The part time position is due to start in December and is available on a remote basis. The daily rate for this role is £625 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience with budget transformation processes within a Local Authority.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Acting as the Finance lead for the design and implementation of budget transformation programmes across all service areas
- Working with senior stakeholders to identify and deliver efficiency savings
- Creating robust business cases and financial models to support transformation initiatives
- Supporting the achievement of a balanced budget
Experience required:
- Experience required in Local Authority finance
