We are looking for an experienced Psychiatric Doctor (Consultant (Psych)) to lead a Multidisciplinary Team within a Community Mental Health Team.
The role involves triaging referrals from GPs, directing patients to appropriate pathways, and providing guidance to GPs.
The position is located in Lancaster, offering a rate of £150 - £155 per hour for a full-time contract of one year with potential for extension.
Candidates must have Approved Clinician status and experience in community mental health and triage is preferred, along with strong leadership skills.
Own transport is required, and candidates must provide proof of identity, a DBS certificate, professional indemnity insurance, relevant qualifications, and two professional references.

Key Responsibilities (Consultancy:

?? Lead the MDT in assessing and managing referrals.?? Ensure patients are appropriately referred, including to the Initial Response Service.?? Provide expert advice and guidance to GPs.

Requirements:

? Approved Clinician (AC) status - essential. ? Experience in community mental health and triage preferred.? Strong leadership and communication skills.? Own transport required.
