We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry, seeking a dynamic and energetic Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team. You will work across two large manufacturing sites in Lancashire, maintaining and improving the functionality of our extensive range of mechanical and electrical equipment. If youre an experienced engineer with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct both proactive and reactive maintenance on single and three-phase circuits, power systems, HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, inverters, lighting circuits, and building management systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues across a variety of M&E systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Work with colleagues and customers to ensure high operational standards and minimal downtime.
* Collaborate with the team to address any maintenance-related issues, providing solutions across different areas of the business.
* On-call duties as required to support site operations.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* Fully recognised trade qualification in one of the following fields:
o Electrical (18th edition, NVQ2&3 minimum)
o Mechanical (NVQ2&3 minimum)
o HVAC (NVQ2&3 minimum)
* Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of a wide range of M&E equipment (HVAC, power systems, pumps, motors, inverters, etc.).
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and engage with colleagues and customers.
* Full UK driving licence and the ability to gain SC Clearance in accordance with client requirements.

* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering problems in a time-sensitive environment.
* Proactive attitude with the capability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
