The HSE Lead / Practitioner will be representing the Company whilst providing monitoring, management and practical assistance for internal HSE requirements.
Previous experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment are highly desired to be considered.
HSE Lead / Practitioner responsibilities:
- Champion HSE best practice within all areas of the business, especially the manufacturing facility.
- Maintain, manage, update the Companys HSE documentation within our QMS and associated documentation.
- Maintain HSE compliance objectives against current legislation and standards with a view that all targets are achieved.
- To plan, implement and manage HSE internal audits.
- Collate and analyse HSE performance data and charts against defined KPIs.
- Work with Company and Project requirements to establish HSE requirements
- Identify relevant HSE-related training needs and deliver / organise training.
- Taking a risk based approach to all aspects of the business, generating Risk Assessments and procedures. Implement and identify training requirements .
- Writing technical and management HSE reports as required.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- IOSH.
- Nebosh.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Extensive knowledge or appropriate qualifications in (OHSAS18001 and ISO45001).
- Experienced understanding and usage experience of quality tools techniques; such as 5S, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and Lean.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- High-level use of Microsoft Office and IT tools
- HNC or equivalent level of education in a technical or engineering discipline.
