CRS are currently assisting our renewables client in sourcing a full time HSE Lead / Practitioner, to join the team at the offices in Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity to join the company who are again experiencing another period of growth.

The HSE Lead / Practitioner will be representing the Company whilst providing monitoring, management and practical assistance for internal HSE requirements.

Previous experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment are highly desired to be considered.

HSE Lead / Practitioner responsibilities:
  • Champion HSE best practice within all areas of the business, especially the manufacturing facility.
  • Maintain, manage, update the Companys HSE documentation within our QMS and associated documentation.
  • Maintain HSE compliance objectives against current legislation and standards with a view that all targets are achieved.
  • To plan, implement and manage HSE internal audits.
  • Collate and analyse HSE performance data and charts against defined KPIs.
  • Work with Company and Project requirements to establish HSE requirements
  • Identify relevant HSE-related training needs and deliver / organise training.
  • Taking a risk based approach to all aspects of the business, generating Risk Assessments and procedures. Implement and identify training requirements .
  • Writing technical and management HSE reports as required.
Our ideal candidate will have:
  • IOSH.
  • Nebosh.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Extensive knowledge or appropriate qualifications in (OHSAS18001 and ISO45001).
  • Experienced understanding and usage experience of quality tools techniques; such as 5S, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and Lean.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • High-level use of Microsoft Office and IT tools
  • HNC or equivalent level of education in a technical or engineering discipline.
