Able to support the company on a maturity journey and help to align the sites across the group? A strong coach and mentor? Wanting to gain exposure to large scale interesting projects?If so, this is the job for you!I am currently representing an established agricultural / manufacturing company, family owned, who are leaders in their field. Ideally, looking for a proven health and safety professional who can provide support across the group and encourage all employees to take ownership of Health and Safety.Main responsibilities:
  • SHE Manager to provide strategic and “boots on the ground” support across all sites, be visible, approachable and hands on when needed
  • A strong and driven HSE professional who has the scope to deputise for Head of HSE and grow and evolve into their role.
  • Daily SHE Management of the sites, which includes accident reduction, delivering driver training and dynamic risk assessments
  • Support the company and influence their cultural maturity journey from reactive towards proactive measures and engaging the workforce
  • Educate, coach and mentor the workforce and customer to develop and encourage the right safety behaviours. There are longstanding members who will also need engaging and bringing on the journey too.
  • Be exposed to and influence large scale, interesting projects across the group
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
  • NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum but ideally NEBOSH Diploma (either completed or in progress) or equivalent
  • ISO 14001 permit experience, ideally an environmental qualification
  • A high risk, fast paced manufacturing/ agricultural/ engineering background ideally but will also consider relevant candidates with transport and logistics exposure
  • Prior SHE Manager experience, ideally multiple sites
  • Change management, behavioural and cultural maturity experience
  • Hands on in their approach but can also balance the strategic elements of the role
