Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality personal care and emotional support to service users.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
- Promote independence and choice while respecting individual preferences.
- Support service users with physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Accurately follow care plans and risk assessments.
- Assist in administering medication (if trained and required).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Build trusting relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, or similar role (preferred).
- Relevant qualifications such as a Care Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
- Understanding of safeguarding, dignity, and person-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
