Night Senior Care Assistant

P4 Recruitment are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Care Assistants to join the team at a luxury, state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, supervise, and mentor a team of care assistants while providing outstanding person-centred care to residents.

About the Role:As a Senior Care Assistant, you will oversee and guide the care team, ensure high standards of care, and support residents through their night-time routines. You will be responsible for administering medication, observing changes in residents' conditions, and directing appropriate care. The ideal candidate will promote person-centred care, maintain professionalism, and liaise confidently with healthcare professionals.

Experience Required:

  • Proven leadership experience in an elderly care or dementia care setting.
  • Experience in providing care during night shifts.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding vulnerable adults’ policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and create or update care plans in line with residents’ needs and preferences.
  • Follow professional standards and adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations set by the Care Quality Commission.
