EYFS Teaching Assistant:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in Early Years to join a lovely school near to Lancaster. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Early Years and have a relevant qualification in Early Childhood.

Role Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities for children.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.
Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.

Position Details:

Location: Lancaster
Position: EYFS TA
Hours: 8am-4pm
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: 90 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications in early childhood education would be highly desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
