Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced ASC Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist school near Lancaster, supporting students in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis.
You will be working with small groups as well as on a 1:1 basis at times with various pupils who have ASC. Experience in similar roles would be advantageous. Some students can at times display challenging behaviour, so a calm and resilient manner is essential.

- Hours - 8am-4pm
Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEN, in particular, Autism
- Building rapport with the children, and acting like a mentor
- Providing environments so that students can reach their full potential
Role Requirements:
- DBS (clean and relevant) - Can be obtained through Prospero Teaching if needed
- Safeguarding Certificate
- Prevent Awareness Certificate
- Excellent Communication Skills
