The Role

The school seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position, requiring flexibility to work across all age ranges in the primary phase (EYFS, KS1, and KS2). As a TA3, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers, delivering interventions, and contributing to the development of a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support class teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Lead small group interventions, including literacy, numeracy, and SEN support.
  • Work closely with individual pupils to support their specific educational needs.
  • Assist in the preparation of resources and classroom displays.
  • Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
  • Support the delivery of creative and inclusive activities across the curriculum.
  • Foster a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children.
  • Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtime, and school trips.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance (or equivalent).
  • Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Be enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about supporting young learners.
