About the opportunity;We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Head of People to join this fast growing UK leisure business.  The Head of People will be responsible for the HR strategy and day-to-day operations across all sites and head office locations.  This role covers all aspects of employee engagement, talent management, and HR compliance and partners closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Leadership Team.With sites based across the North East, North West and Scotland, candidates will ideally live in the north of the UK and will be prepared to travel each week.Key elements of the role include;
  • Working with the SLT to create and define the culture.
  • Establish robust recruitment and attraction strategies to recruit top talent for the business.
  • Manage change and transformation effectively, establishing strong foundations for the new SLT.
  • Improving processes and ways of working.
  • Building strong relationships with the teams out on the Parks.
  • Developing a talent development and management process to drive career development.
  • Overseeing ER, coaching and guiding managers where necessary. 
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate;An experienced HR leader with a strong generalist background, you will ideally have experience of working within a multi site, fast paced and commercial business such as retail, hospitality or leisure.  You will have a good track record of leading through change and driving successful people strategies in a high growth business.  Culture development and talent acquisition strategies will be a key part of your HR tool kit.Our client;Our client is a fast growing business with ambitious plans for future growth and further investment in people.
