Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1st Line Technician to join a Managed IT Services company in Lancaster. You will be responsible for providing 1st line technical support, assisting clients with IT related queries and carrying out hardware/software support and maintenance tasks.

The role would be ideal for a candidate that has 1 year experience working within an IT support based background. However, IT graduates and apprentices are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide 1st line technical support on a range of IT hardware, software and network related issues.- Log tickets, handle client calls and diagnose / deliver solutions to basic level issues- Assist in the installation, procurement and maintenance of IT hardware and software- Receiving, packaging and posting clients hardware- Admin support with various ongoing projects- Keeping client records up to date.- Liaise with 3rd party IT suppliers.

Technical Skills Required:

- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and Active Directory- Experience of providing 1st line technical support (desirable not essential)- Understanding of cloud services such as Office 365 and Azure.- Experience of creating and maintaining client records.- Passionate about IT and customer service, thinks strategically and drives performance- Great communication skills and confident talking to customers
