IT Operations Manager - (IT, Operations, Leadership, Stakeholder Management, Architecture, Infrastructure, Service Delivery) - Permanent - Lancaster
Charles Simon Associates are currently recruiting for an IT Operations Manager on a permanent basis for our prestigious local business based in the heart of Lancaster.
Location: Lancaster (This role will be on site 3 days per week)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum D.O.E
Skills/Requirements for the IT Operations Manager:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Strong service delivery experience, including multiple projects in parallel
- Management of small Infrastructure/IT teams
- Roadmap architecture
- Extensive Stakeholder Management
- Experience of working with multiple 3rd party vendors
Start date is ASAP for the IT Operations Manager
The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- Supporting the businesses core applications, ensuring the availability, performance and change requests are fit for purpose
- Managing the extensive 3rd party vendor network the business currently operates with
- Developing the digital strategy in conjunction with the Head of IT
- Ensuring a high performing Infrastructure/IT Team is fit for purpose
- Developing the internal IT staff to ensure strong career progression and development opportunities within
- Dealing with high level stakeholders on a regular basis to provide performance and business updates
- Maintaining and updating the IT Policies and Procedures regularly
- In conjunction with the Head of IT produce a long term roadmap for developing the internal applications within the IT estate
