Job Opportunity –  Quality Manager  for a leading multinational materials manufacturer in North Lancashire.

Company:  Growing multinational materials manufacturer which has seen 40% growth in the last 2 years, looking to grow significantly in the next few years. 

Hours of work: Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm (38 hours per week)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Upto £55k + Bonus (depending on skills and experience). 

You will be involved in:

  • Development, implementation and continual improvement of the company’s Quality & Environmental programme.
  • Carrying out internal audits and looking at continuous improvement of manufacturing procedures using lean and six sigma methodologies. 
  • Conducting risk and COSHH assessments and ensuring compliance.
  • Managing the quality team by providing support and guidance and seeking opportunities for learning and development. 
  • Supporting the management of the ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and environmental permits.

What do you need to be considered?

You will need:

  • A strong quality, background within manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001, 14001, 45001.
  • Ideally a Health and Safety qualification - NEBOSH or higher.
  • Knowledge of internal auditing and continuous improvement.
  • Experience of supervising, training and mentoring QA and Laboratory staff.
