A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Family Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their team in Oldham or Todmorden. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with experience in private family law to handle a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of private family law matters, including children, finances, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Confidently handling initial court appointments.
  • Engaging in business development to expand the firm’s family law practice.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and local contacts.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 2-7 years PQE as a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive.
  • Experience in private family law (children, finances, cohabitation).
  • Willingness to participate in business development and networking.
  • Confidence in handling some initial court hearings is desirable.
  • Applications are particularly welcome from those based in or with contacts in Oldham, Saddleworth, Calder Valley, or Manchester.
