A client of mine, based in Lancashire who specialisein automation and process design, havean urgent need for a controls engineer for an initial 6-month contract outside IR35.
They are seeking someone with experience in programming TIA Portal PLCs from scratch, as well as the ability to modify existing designs. Experience with TIA Unified would be advantageous.
The role will initially require office-based work in Haslingden for the first 2-3 months, after which it will transition to commissioning and SAT work at the customer's site in Switzerland.
