Product Planning Supervisor - North West England

Walker Cole International are seeking a Product Planning Supervisor to join a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) business in the North West of England. Whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as a Product Planning Supervisor you will be responsible for guiding a small team to ensure key metrics are met, including: inventory management, on time in full and line capacity.

As a Product Planning Supervisor, you will be required to:

  • Maintain planning software to ensure efficient manufacturing and packaging of batches.
  • Forecast material requirements three months in advance to in form the purchasing department of the business and avoid bottlenecks in production
  • Calculate utilization figures for shop floor equipment, aiming for full employment in the long term.

A successful Production Planning Supervisor will demonstrate:

  • Sufficient knowledge and experience within production or supply management roles
  • A data-led mindset fostering a fact-based, consistent, cooperative management style
  • Ability to identify issues quickly and problem-solve logistic challenges

As a Product Planning Supervisor role, there is significant engagement with planning software management, candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office and generation of reports for presentation purposes.
