We are seeking a Primary School Teacher for an immediate start at a very popular school in South Lancaster. This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or experienced teachers with knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. The position offers a competitive daily rate, which is paid to scale, including a forthcoming pay increase for new teachers.
Day-to-day of the role:- Teach across different key stages or classes as required, adapting to the needs of each group.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that engage and challenge students, following the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for examinations and providing feedback to help them improve.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the teaching practice and educational experience for students.
- Participate in and contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
- Knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexibly across different key stages or classes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Suitable qualifications for teaching at the primary level in the UK.
