We are seeking a Primary School Teacher for an immediate start at a very popular school in South Lancaster. This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or experienced teachers with knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. The position offers a competitive daily rate, which is paid to scale, including a forthcoming pay increase for new teachers.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach across different key stages or classes as required, adapting to the needs of each group.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that engage and challenge students, following the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for examinations and providing feedback to help them improve.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the teaching practice and educational experience for students.
  • Participate in and contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work flexibly across different key stages or classes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Suitable qualifications for teaching at the primary level in the UK.
