Year 6 Teacher - Lancaster:

Prospero teaching are looking for a qualified teacher to join one of our primary schools near Lancaster. You will be teaching a Year 6 class from February half term until the end of the academic year.

The Role:

  • Fostering a positive learning environment
  • Communicating effectively with teaching assistants and parents to monitor progress

Position Details:

  • Position: Year 6 teacher
  • Hours: 8am-4:30pm
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £135 per day, depending on experience

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience teaching KS2 pupils is essential for this position
  • Team Teach training would be highly desired
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
