Primary Teaching Assistant - Lancaster:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support Reception students at a lovely primary school near Lancaster.

The Role:

• Preparing learning resources and activities
• Communicating with the teacher to track progress of pupils

Position Details:

• Location: Lancaster
• Role: TA
• Hours: 8:45am-3pm
• Minimum rate of pay: 85 per day, depending on experience
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Start Date: Jan 2025
• End date: Ongoing

EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
• Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
