We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager for our client, a leading service & hire organisation based in the North West focusing on electrical power solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking to transition into a more senior, office-based role while still engaging directly with engineering projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Support Engineering Team: Collaborate closely with the engineering team on electrical installations and repair projects, managing up to 15 projects from purchase order to commission.

Material Preparation: Prepare and order all necessary materials and technical information to ensure engineers can efficiently complete their work on-site.

Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of various electrical engineering solutions, provide guidance on site to engineers.

Site Engagement: Conduct site visits to assist with commissioning, testing, and overseeing electrical repairs.

Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain all necessary paperwork to facilitate effective solutions for customers.

NICEIC Participation: Manage NICEIC accreditation including assessor site visits, documentation and queries.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience Required: Proven experience as an engineer, ideally with a background in electrical systems, engines, generators, control systems

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with diesel generator systems is highly desirable. Experience in engines and related electrical systems will be considered.

Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while being self-motivated.
